A workspace for email authoring
Email uses structured content blocks, responsive preview, semantic markup, and email-focused checks. Those constraints give it a dedicated workspace while keeping its artwork in the same Varve document model.
The workspace opens on Email authoring. Email Preview and Email Output are separate dock panels beneath the canvas, grouped as tabs with Preview selected. Output includes generated HTML, plain text, source mapping, preflight, and the saved authored-source list.
Author, inspect, and export
- Start from email-aware content blocks and retain authored source alongside rendered content.
- Find saved code blocks even when they have no visible canvas object, and edit their source explicitly.
- Preview responsive layouts in Varve's browser renderer and run email compatibility checks before export.
- Review generated HTML and plain text separately from custom HTML/CSS and authored source.
Sample personalization values are for preview only; they are not silently inserted into exported content. Switching to Email does not convert existing artwork or enable an email profile automatically.
What the preview verifies
The preview is rendered in Varve's browser surface. It is not a live Gmail or Outlook rendering test, and export does not send campaigns or authenticate with an email service provider. Review the generated output in your delivery workflow before sending.
