Review before you apply
Compare the original and cutout, switch between checkerboard, black, and white backgrounds, then apply the mask as a normal document edit. Brush refinement, hair-edge refinement, and trimap editing remain available after the first pass.
Honest about difficult pixels
Models estimate foreground alpha; they do not promise physical matting for glass, smoke, steam, or every translucent edge. Unsafe bare-WASM allocations are blocked before they can destabilize the editor, and any reduced-quality fallback is shown rather than hidden.
Measured, not marketed
Varve evaluates global masks and boundaries separately across hair, fur, products, portraits, vehicles, illustrations, and other design-workload images. Large benchmark corpora stay outside ordinary CI; model downloads require explicit consent and checksum verification.
